Lester is professor of the Graduation Project course. He holds a Ph.D. in Plant Ecology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim and a postdoctoral degree in Functional and Quantitative Ecology from the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA). Additionally, he earned a Master of Science in Integrated Watershed Management with a sub-specialization in Tropical Agroforestry, from the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE) in Turrialba, Costa Rica. He is an Agronomist specializing in Animal Science, with a degree from the National Agrarian University (UNA) in Nicaragua, his home country.
