Luis is the professor of Business Internationalization. He specializes in leadership, management, and organizational development with a focus on sustainability and regeneration. His systemic perspective integrates leadership, interculturality, the circular economy, and the economy for the common good, grounded in principles of cooperation and mutualism.
Luis’s career has focused on building capacities and aligning ethical values with scientific knowledge, promoting a vision of human development that harmonizes the material and the moral. A Costa Rican national, Luis has experience in designing and implementing socio-environmental projects, as well as in developing fundraising strategies, with an emphasis on participatory and consultative processes at the level of community-based organizations.


His vision is inspired by an ethic of service and the pursuit of unity in diversity as a foundation for social transformation. Luis holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Costa Rica, a postgraduate degree in Business Administration, and a master’s degree in Natural Resource Management from INCAE Business School.
